Yarn: Shiny. Shiny is soft and smooth and… shiny! (In both the reflecting light way and the happy postitive exclamation from Firefly way!) This yarn is very well constructed with three neatly twisted plies that are the key to its glossy shine and lack of halo. The Tencel makes it quite tough with no give (you don’t want to try to snap this yarn with your bare hands) so garments knit from this yarn stay new looking for a long time even after lots of washing. Just say NO to pilling!
Shiny is a wonderful choice for lacey socks, lacey scarves and lacey shawls. Non-lacey items too, I suppose, I’m just partial to the lacey, shiny thing! It is not wooly so it is an excellent choice for summer knitting.
Karma. Crisp, cool greens of new growth and the colors of sandy soil gradually transform into clear blues of open sky reflecting on clean water and then to lichen green and browns of things that grow on dead trees. Wholesome, healthy colors cycle naturally and make you feel good.
Skein Design: Mutating Variegate. Variegated yarn that starts as a variegation of one group of colors and mutates into a different set of colors, also variegated. Easy to work with but hard to put down, you’ll want to keep knitting to see what comes next. Each skein is an individual.
