Shiny. This shiny, happy yarn feels great to knit with and makes lovely socks and accessories. I get about 27 sts per 4” on size US 1 needles. This yarn has a lovely drape in stockinette, has wonderful definition in pattern stitches and holds up to lots of frogging (says my patient and dedicated sample knitter).
Colorway: Filanon. Named for a group of tree-dwelling archers from a favorite novel. Lots of forest (camouflage) colors with sky blue and grey with bits of apple green. The knit sample is pictured to show how the colors interact and move as you knit. The yarn may be different but the size of the stripes will be similar. Keep in mind that each skein is unique and will knit in its own beautiful way.
Skein Design: Mutating Variegate. Variegated yarn that starts as a variegation of one group of colors and mutates into a different set of colors, also variegated. Easy to work with but hard to put down, you’ll want to keep knitting to see what comes next. Each skein is an individual.
Shiny is 50% superwash merino and 50% tencel.
