Yarn: Playful. Playful is colorful and unassuming. It is fun to knit with and makes a soft but hard wearing fabric. Each of its three plies is tightly twisted and then plied together into a balanced, bouncy and joyful yarn with the matte softness of a nice cotton but the memory and hand of a delightful, quality merino. The yarn and dye connect like long lost lovers with explosive color!
Playful knits into a fabric with excellent stitch definition, making it a great choice for cables. The combination of washability and vibrant colors makes it a wonderful choice for baby and child garments. Socks knit from this yarn will be beloved for years! Winter accessories like hats, scarves and mittens will hold up well and feel good next to skin.
Filanon. Named for a group of tree-dwelling archers from a favorite novel. Lots of forest (camouflage) colors with sky blue and grey with bits of apple green. The knit sample is pictured to show how the colors interact and move as you knit. The yarn may be different but the size of the stripes will be similar. Keep in mind that each skein is unique and will knit in its own beautiful way.
Skein Design: Mutating Variegate. Variegated yarn that starts as a variegation of one group of colors and mutates into a different set of colors, also variegated. Easy to work with but hard to put down, you’ll want to keep knitting to see what comes next. Each skein is an individual.
