Yarn: Kabam. Kabam! is a luscious yarn! The bamboo lends this yarn a lovely soft glow, not shiny, but joyfully luminous! The superwash merino dyes beautiful, rich colors which are diffused by the bamboo without losing much intensity. This yarn has little or no stretch, a wonderful silky drape and a sensuously soft hand.
Originally perceived as a sock yarn, it now has a following for lacey garments and baby gear (as well as socks)! Socks knit in plain stockinette are very attractive, but this yarn also shows off fancy stitches beautifully.
Portal. Static charged aqua sky, charred red and burnt orange transition into the yellow-green of dune grass. Odd inspiration for a unique and tempting colorway.
