Verity is a great yarn, bulky without being overpowering.
The mohair lends the yarn a slight halo, which allows you to go up a needle or
hook size and get a drapier fabric. Mohair also creates a shine to the yarn and
mutes the color somewhat. The woolen feel of Verity makes it great for thrummed
mittens, and outerwear like vests or jackets. Verity’s true calling is in
felting projects, so try it for a nice firm bag that wouldn’t even let knitting
needles poke through, or less firm but warm and sturdy slippers.
