Colorway: Nomad: Deep amethyst purple, rich chocolatey browns and briar rose pink. Seek your fortune from the traveling people. Knit a bewitching shawl or a folksy pair of socks. This colorway looks lovely with brown, grays and denim. Please note that the rosy end dye is unpredictable and can create burgundy or scarlet smears and speckles. We think it's pretty foxy knit up! (formerly Gypsy)

Evolution yarns are individually hand-dyed in glorious colors which gracefully meld together, ready for you to make into a magnificent multi-hued or gradient garment! Heavier yarns in size Small tend to weigh a bit extra to accommodate the widest variety of projects.

Nomad Muse October 19, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I made a scarf and am very pleased with the Nomad Muse yarn.  It is spectacular yarn with the evolution of beautiful colors.  The scarf is light and has a somewhat lacy look.  I recommend the Muse weight for the softness of the finished piece as well as the beautiful look.

Evolutionary dress November 22, 2014

What a wonderful product! I figured out an approximate length of yarn needed and asked for the colour change to be over the entire length - of 3 HUGE cakes! No problem! The finished garment is beautiful in spite of my large overestimate, largely due to this gorgeous yarn. It is quite light in actual weight but will be warm enough for wearing in cooler weather. The fabric it creates behaves more like the wool content than the bamboo content. The colours are AMAZING! I was a bit taken aback by was the amount of dye lost in the wash (soaked in 'Soak') - there was so much dye in the water that if I put my hand in, it was completely invisible by 2cm below the water's surface. I decided that vinegar might help - and it did, the yarn retaking some of the dye it had already lost into the final rinse bath, with added vinegar. The purple and black sections of the garment are slightly different in colour post wash, but still lovely. I would advise others to add vinegar right from the start.
